The Documentary Media Centre is an "independent museum, archive and library - registered with AiM the Association of Independent Museums" based in Leicester and ran by John Coster (@docmediacentre) who organises the annual DocFilm Festival celebrating documentary films, photography, books and audio. It connects with practitioners worldwide including in Africa, South Asia and Latin America. John and his festival have been a champion and supporter of my work since 2013 when they agreed to screen the world premiere of The Ice Cream Men at the Phoenix Cinema and at subsequent events: A Film By Abigail, The Next Room and Lost In The Nameless City. We are developing an exhibition on my photographic and film work, as well as discussing exhibitions/projects about the UK COVID lockdown later in 2020.

Filthy Lucre has commissioned my films The Visions of Hildegard Von Bingen for their event Lingua Ignota and Lost In The Nameless City for its titular namesake. I first worked for Filthy Luce to create a trailer for their event Cults in 2013, shooting dance on camera to advertise a new piece of choreography premiering at the event. The promo was highly received and our relationship continued from there. Lost In The Nameless City originally premiered with Electric Counterpoint (Steve Reich) played live by jazz guitarist Rob Luft and The Divine Visions of Hildegard Von Bingen has screened twice at their events including in Covent Garden on Shaftesbury Avenue at the incredible Stone Nest with live female vocalists. Filthy Lucre is a registered charity, fantastic and excitingly fresh, ran by great loyal people who have always supported my ideas and films, pushing the boundaries with their inspired immersive events built around a variety of themes; at once intelligent with grace and accessible for all.
"Filthy Lucre puts on events that move from concert to gig to club night. Tied together by artistic concepts, such as cultic rituals and urban sprawl, our events are not determined by genre constraints but by a cohesive artistic vision. Focusing on ambitious contemporary music, Filthy Lucre has performed music from Scott Walker to Fausto Romitelli and collaborated with film makers, dancers, visual artists and many more."

Julie Schmidt Andreasen is a choreographer, dancer and teacher. After I replied to her ad on a website looking for a documentary filmmaker with dance film / painting sensibilities, we got to work on The Body Canvas which was a film that was originally only intended for an installation at The Place / London School of Contemporary Dance but has now screened internationally following its official world premiere at Oxo Tower Wharf exhibition Zealous X in London. I have travelled twice to Denmark for film commissions in 2014 for Branches and Bones at Vallø Castle and in 2016 at Skagens Museum supported by the Danish Arts Foundation.
From her website, in her own words: "I dance and choreograph in the intersection between different artforms with and for people. I am currently based in Copenhagen and work nationally and internationally in museums, theatres and natural landscapes. I conduct and perform movement in natural landscapes to offer ways of accessing nature around and within us. My artistic practice is often a physical and musical response to other art works and processes to invent a movement language that can speak with and be spoken to and draw lines between time, places and human bodies. In choreography I study human interactions and relations, and the rhythm of breath – silences and sounds that the body can produce and perceive is present in my work."
