Paintformance Installation

The Paintformance installation screened two halves of The Body Canvas on two separate screens for the interacting audience - as well as photography of the artists' processes, live drawings and dance. This happened at The Place as a major London Contemporary School of Dance project for my Danish collaborator Julie Schmidt Andreasen, whom I would continue to create films with. Drawers and painters Anna Jung Seo from Korea and Londoner John Close would create work on paper during the performances happening within their space. The Body Canvas was originally only intended to screen here for a physical installation but went on to be selected at the Zealous X exhibition and Kaleidoscopic Arts Platform in London, in the USA and in Copenhagen.
